Do I demand the bluetooth obd2 reader in order to customize my torque pro. I'm tring to get the transmission fluid temp to come up up but its non working. I only ordered the bluetooth adapter today.

    PID: 21d9
    Unit: Fahrenheit
    Max: 250
    Min: 0
    Equation: ((((E*256)+F*(7/100)-400)/10)

Does this expect right for transmission fluid temperature? 2015 Tacoma with tow package.

    Thanks

I did mine today and it worked simply my short three.25 mile ride to work show it merely creeping up to 130° in 92° ambient air. I trying to figure out the oil temp at present. you lot need the reader. I just bought this one....

Thank you very much. I bought the KIWI three reader. 99.00 after. It supports both apple and Android. Hoping this one doesn't give me any issues.

I found in some other forum some lawmaking for the oil temp. I am going to try it on the way home and come across if it works.

supposedly torque pro equations will work with engine link. and so i volition demand it with engine link using torque pro equation for at temp? planing on using engine link since torque will not work with apple ios. is there an iso app that will show at temp straight upward without PID equations?

I'1000 typically proficient with this stuff simply can't figure it out for the life of me. Where do I enter the equations and other info for the tranny and oil temps?
  16. I constitute unlike places where you lot can download custom PIDs for unlike cars and import them into the Torque app but never accept plant any for the Tacoma. If you run into one somewhere please let me know.

I don't know what a PID is. But so I'k clear, there is currently no mode to get transmission temp or engine oil temp to brandish on Torque Pro for the 2d gen Tacomas. Correct?
  18. I call back it can exist washed information technology just takes someone with more savy than me to do it. A custom PID is a programming file that some smart SOB has made up that can be imported into the Torque app so it will display info such as what you are talking about. You can read a niggling about them here:

I am using an ODBLink LX with Torque Pro and am able to read transmission temps in my 2015. I might have gotten the PIDs here to starting time with: http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/foru...6-trans-temp-torque-pro-obdii-anyone-endeavor.html.

Below are what I have in Torque

    OBD2 Mode and PID:
    2182
    Long Proper noun:
    Transmission Fluid Temperature 1
    Short Name:
    ttemp1
    Minimum Value:
    0.0
    Maximum value:
    300.0
    Calibration factor:
    x1
    Unit Blazon:
    °F
    Equation:
    ((((A*256)+B) * (7/100) – 400)/10)

    OBD2 Mode and PID:
    2182
    Long Name:
    Transmission Fluid Temperature 2
    Brusque Name:
    ttemp2
    Minimum Value:
    0.0
    Maximum value:
    300.0
    Calibration factor:
    x1
    Unit of measurement Type:
    °F
    Equation:
    ((((C*256)+D) * (seven/100) – 400)/10)
