Collecting Pledges

Your child will receive a Read-A-Thon envelope with pledge form in form by September 22nd. Please use the envelope to rail sponsors and collect donations past cash or check payable to Love Unproblematic PTA.

Collect Pledges

Track Your Reading

Starting October 4, Read! Read! Read!

Each educatee (with developed help, if needed!) will runway their time spent reading on an online Daily Reading Log.  Please brand a copy of the document earlier you lot utilize it! At the top of the form is a field to enter in your child's total reading goal (minutes). As you enter reading time each mean solar day, their progress towards their goal will automatically calculate and total at the lesser.

After the Read-a-Thon is finished, use this form to submit a student's full reading time. We will enter total reading time for each student into the GoalStarter page so that donations made per increment can be calculated.

Recommended Reading Goals

To make setting a daily reading goal easier, listed below are some sample times for each grade. Retrieve minutes reading alone or beingness read to count!

Community Story Time

The Dearest PTA will be hosting a Community Story Fourth dimension at vii PM for 5 nights during the Read-a-Thon (October 4-fifteen). Find the agenda of events below.

Prizes

Reading and fundraising are hard work! To give thanks our students, the post-obit prizes will be awarded.

Prizes are cumulative. For example, if you reach the "Raise $150" Goal, yous also receive the prizes associated with the "Raise $10" and "Raise $75" Goals.

Individual Prizes

  • See your personal reading minutes goal = bookmark
  • Heighten $20 = Activity or sticker volume and colored pencils
  • Raise $75 = Tucker's Ice Cream Jr. Scoop
  • Raise $150 = Popular It or Popular Its Spinner
  • Heighten $250 = Honey Elementary Read-a-Thon t-shirt

Schoolhouse Wide Prizes

  • Student that raises the virtually money = lunch with the Principal
  • Classroom that raises the most coin = specIal party with teacher
